Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, DGPS Testing.       Designed and implemented motorhome-based DGPS testing array featuring 6 GPS receivers, 6 DGPS receivers, on-board LAN and GPS antenna splitter.  Collected test data throughout province, completed analysis and co-authored final report.

 

Ontario Ministry of Transportation, GPS Control Survey for CBN.  Project 1999-104, Central and South-Eastern Ontario.  Assisted with least squares adjustments and final report.

 

Ontario Ministry of Transportation, 2nd Order GPS Control Survey.   Project 2000-106, Highways 584, 614, 631. Completed monument installation, GPS observations, processing, adjustments and final reporting.

 

NRCAN: Geomatics Canada, Re-Survey of Whitefish Bay IR 33A

Sioux Narrows, Ontario.  Completed field survey of approximately  7km of rectilinear boundary including GPS ties to control.

 

Ontario Hydro. Survey of Bruce Nuclear Power Plant. 

Co-managed field office of 6 survey crews and two drafters in completion of several Reference Plans.

 

Ontario Oil Pipelines Group Annual General Meeting, June 2000.

Authored and presented “GPS Applications for Pipelines” seminar to meeting of four oil pipeline companies.

·       As a Project Surveyor - responsible for supervision of field crews engaged in cadastral and geodetic surveys, client contact, proposal writing, calculations and field work.

 

·       As GPS Specialist - responsible for coordination of GPS field surveys and data collection in support of mapping and control surveying.  Duties included mission planning, supervision of data collection, data processing and compilation of final returns

 

Projects

Ministry of Natural Resources, GPS Controlled Aerial Photography. Airborne Kinematic GPS in support of OBM mapping programme. Collected static and kinematic observations, performed bundle block adjustment for aerial photo triangulation.

 

Ministry of Natural Resources, Mississaugi First Nation Land Settlement Survey.  Blind River, Ontario. GPS control survey for photo-control and support of conventional surveys.  Compiled all required information, coordinated field survey, processed GPS observations, completed adjustments and provided final returns along with written report.

 

TransCanada Pipelines.  2nd Order GPS Control Survey.

Sarnia, Winchester & Pembroke.  Managed field work, completed calculations and delivered final results.

 

Natural Resources Canada, Sahtu ‘M’ Class Land Claim Survey, Fort Good Hope, Northwest Territories.  Provided GPS RTK setup, GPS post-processing and calculations in support of survey crews.
